Q1. What do you charge for your Austin tutor service?
A1. Most of our tutors charge between $30 to $50 per hour. So, once you have reviewed the profile of available tutors in your neighborhood, you can choose the tutor based on their qualifications and their tutoring rates.
Q2. What are the qualifications of your Math, English and SAT tutors in Austin?
A2. Our tutor qualifications vary. We employ state certified teachers, subject matter experts and college juniors and seniors with stellar academic credentials. They all have three things in common:
a) They are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of the students.
b) They all have previous tutoring experience.
c) They have all been pre-screened to confirm that they do not have any criminal background.
Q3. Do you offer any discounts?
A3. Yes. If you purchase 30 hours or more, we offer a 5% discount and if you purchase 60 hours or more, we offer a 10% discount.
Q4. How are your math tutors in Austin paid?
A4. All tutors are paid on the 1st and the 16th of each month through direct deposit. The tutors receive 65% of their tutoring rate. The difference is used for customer discounts, marketing, website fees and other general administrative expenses.
Q5. Can I meet the tutor at a place other than my home?
A5. Yes. Please arrange a mutually convenient place to meet with the tutor around your home like a coffee shop, a book store or a library. You may decide to conduct future tutoring sessions outside your home as well if there is a mutually agreeable place that provides a quiet learning environment and you are able to provide adult supervision for your minor child under the age of 18. Adult supervision for minors is required at home as well.
Q6. What is the minimum time for a tutoring session?
A6. The minimum tutoring session time is 1 hour. However, we recommend 1.5 hours for middle school students and 2 hours for high school students for best results.
Q7. Do you offer any guarantees?
A7. Yes, we offer 100% satisfaction guarantee. We believe that you will be thrilled with our tutors! However, if you are not satisfied with a new tutor, we will refund the charges for one hour of tutoring and help you find a different tutor.
